Blockchain Centre Singapore aims to improve knowledge on blockchain technology through courses and events, and build an inclusive community of individuals and organizations who are keen to learn, connect, and collaborate.

As our next initiative in that direction, Blockchain Centre Singapore is bringing to you blockchain innovations from Money20/20, for an evening of knowledge exchange and networking.

We hope to create an opportunity for you to learn about exciting blockchain protocols, use cases, and projects from other parts of the world, and meet the incredible people behind them.

Pavel Bains, CEO

Pavel is the CEO of Bluzelle – the decentralized database for the new internet. Pavel is an expert in digital media having worked with Disney, Microsoft, Warners Bros, DreamWorks. Pavel is also a frequent contributor to Forbes, Huffington Post and Fast Company, writing articles in the areas of finance and digital media.

Calvin Cheng, Developer Advocate

Calvin has been leading product and technical teams for more than a decade. He is most recently developer advocate for Hedera Hashgraph, a 4th generation distributed ledger technology that is truly ABFT and is currently involved as product engineer for Hedera’s high throughput micropayment implementation.

Gert Funk, Co-founder & CEO

Gert is the Founder and CEO of RocketFuel Blockchain. He has spent 14 years as Payment Service Provider for International eCom merchants, and been a Founder and CEO of BigeFinancials A/S – a fully FSA licensed financial institution. Gert is a serial entrepreneur since 1990 and a blockchain expert since 2015.

Andrei Karpushonak, CTO

Andrei is the Chief Technology Officer of Xen and is responsible for the technology and security infrastructure. Prior to Xen, he was the founder of SolidBitcoin, a blockchain consultancy writing Smart Contracts for clients in Europe, such as Numex Exchange and EQUI. He has extensive experience in blockchain and software architecture for fintechs and exchanges.

Andrei brings a wealth of technology experience, having worked at large corporations and start-ups in Poland, Gibraltar, and Spain. He designs and builds robust and scalable solutions for a variety of concepts with a particular focus on blockchain related technology. He is a champion of the crypto community, having organized CryptoMarbella meetups in Southern Spain.


– Zilliqa, Singapore

Saiba Kataruka, Marketing Lead

Saiba Kataruka is the Developer Marketing Lead for Zilliqa and is responsible for leading Zilliqa’s global blockchain education initiatives for students and experienced developers.

No, this is a self-paid event. Harry’s offers great happy hour rates available till 8pm.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There is no minimum age to enter the event, but if you intend to drink, the legal drinking age in Singapore is 18.
