Blockchain for Real Estate Investment: Future of Marketplace Services
Cross-border real estate investment has many challenges. Investors need to consider several barriers and risks, such as:
– political risk of government policies, red-tape and corruption,
– legal risk involving government regulations, legal systems, and taxation,
– economic risks like currency fluctuations,
– physical climate and risk of natural disasters,
– developer risk related to quality and reliability,
– property management concerns, and even
– language barriers.
Blockchain technology is transforming real estate with its wide ranging applications. Can real estate services using marketplace solutions on the blockchain address these challenges and propel cross-border real estate investments?
To address these questions, Blockchain Centre – the world’s first non-profit blockchain knowledge hub, is holding this inaugural event, marking the launch of Blockchain Centre Singapore.
